Dropshipping food to US

hi there,

Anyone knows how are rules to export food from UK/EU to US? I am planning to ship products to US. I am based in UK, but products are shipped from Italy directly to the consumer. As I am trading cheese (aged not fresh) and cured meats I would not want problems at the customs.
