These are fair critiques. Whilst this situation isn't caused by the app directly, a Shopify level solve will be required. The reason for it happening is the clash with the markets subfolder format: example.com/{language ISO code}-{country ISO code}/ but we are looking at a solution - accelerated by your feedback, so thank you. Note that it is unique to having both forms of Chinese on one market, but your use case totally makes sense. We'll be in touch once we have something to test.

Hi there, I also require this solution. It is not unique to having both forms of Chinese on one market. China is a big market and it has people using different forms of Chinese. In my case, I sell in a western market, but I'm mainly targeting Chinese, both traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese users who are living overseas. Hope there will be a solution very soon!! It shouldn't be too hard to fix right???

How are we going with this fix? We have several clients that require simplified AND traditional Chinese on their site due to the markets they service.
Do we have a solution yet or an eta on when we will have a solution?

Just realized you can't add Traditional and Simplified Chinese together in Shopify. How aweful! I didn't expect such a common feature is absent. Any chance that an update will roll out soon? How to participate beta testing?

Go to browser's Edit->Preferences->Appearance->Fonts page, for "For the Encoding", select Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese. Make sure that the appropriate font is set for "Variable Width Font" (select MingLiU for Traditional Chinese or select MS Song for Simplified Chinese).
