not possible to manually edit translation of content in pages

hi all

I'm using the studio theme.

I have created pages templates using the customization tool in my default language, english. how i did it : customize theme > pages > create template.

I then use auto translate app to translate all my content in French. 

For the pages, the content is auto translated in French, but the translation is not the quality i expect. 

So i'd like to edit it manually. But on the translate & add interface i can only translate the page, which has no content, not the page template, on which i put all my content.

if i use the store customization tool, selecting "french" in the language, i have the message

Your store's primary language is English. To customize content in French, use a translation app.

Back to editing

"

Idem for buttons i can not translate them. 

Any idea how to solve this issue ?
