Shopify Translate and Adapt - development theme

Hello everyone.

I am trying to translate my site in 3 languages (English, Italian, Portuguese).
I have created a copy of the theme and therefore I'm working the translations in a development theme. So far so good.

Trying to log into the site with a VPN from each country of the language, shopify tells me to select the region. So far so good too.

The problem is that once I indicate the country (Italy) to display the site in Italian, it doesn't do it. It still shows the default page.
I thought that maybe it is because the theme has to be published for it to work correctly.
Any idea?

Hey @Borti . Country is recommended based on IP, and language is recommended based on your browser. This is because there are lots of people who may, for example, browse in English even if they don't live in an officially English speaking country, or there are countries where many languages are spoken. To replicate the Italian experience, test in a browser set to Italian. Note that the hreflangs that Markets creates are designed to get buyers landing on the correct experience without having to accept a recommendation.

Hi, what about texts coming from a dev theme?

I am trying to use the app in a dev theme and get rid of langify..but i doesn't get the index sections and other pages.

I found out that there's an option in the sections

This correct - this is the only way you can translate an unpublished theme
