Re: Translatable content hash is invalid

Why am I getting a 'Translatable content hash is invalid' error in Shopify Translate?

Hello,

I'm using Shopify Translate & Adapt to localize a page.

I copied and paste the original content to the right side and changed each word and phrases.

However, when I try to save, it gives me a message saying that "Translatable content hash is invalid"

Is there another way to translate a page?

Any help would be appreciated.

@maka93 @rapidturtle we can't reproduce the error this end; could you please record videos of it happening and send to localization-product-team@shopify.com ? Thanks

I'm also experiencing the same translating from English to Italian. I can't upload the screen recording I have because I don't have permission but hopefully someone else will be able to do it.

Hi @thecolorsofawom please see the email address above to send to (or upload to YouTube as unlisted and share there or here), cc @rapidturtle @maka93 . If video's not possible then screenshots are ok - just give me steps to replicate. We need that to work out what's happening and fix, thanks

Hi! I just had the same issue and after some looking around, I figured out it was because the original source content was changed.
My fix was to copy the text I translated, refresh the page and then paste the translated text. 🙂

I had the same issue it turned out it was an issue with the email link in it.
It worked after I deleted that part saved it and added it again after.
