Why isn't my updated website meta information showing on Google?

After changing my websites meta information (the websites title and description) it still hasn’t changed on Google

Its been a week and now I’m running out of ideas to try and fix it. 

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Can you share what steps you have taken so far to try and get the information updated on Google? There is no surefire way to get Google to recrawl your website but re-submitting your sitemap and asking google to schedule a recrawl can definitely help with that.

What Shay recommended should lead to the desired changes you're looking for to be reflected by Google's search engine. As Shay had mentioned, Google's bots will crawl sites and pages at their leisure, so we can't say for certain when these changes will be made - it's up to the bots that Google use. The best thing you can do is make sure that you have the correct information where you need it so the bots can scan things that are required for these changes to go through.
