@Moderators - please let me know if this isn't OK to post here.
My co-founder and I have worked in the tech industry for several years (across recruitment, edtech, social networks etc). We think we've identified a market gap in the Shopify developer ecosystem: a platform that spans across education, job/candidate matching & vetting, and community building - within the Shopify developer specialism.
I'm ~60% sure we've identified a need that would benefit everyone (Shopify included).
But I definitely need to speak with more people in this space to be 100% sure, before we build the platform.
My ask: would anyone be open to connecting and sharing some insights with me (either through email/Zoom)? I can email our (short) list of questions to you if so.
To be clear - we're not trying to sell anything to anybody right now, there's ZERO ulterior motive here. We're JUST looking to speak with people in this space, to clarify our hypotheses. So, @Moderators: I hope that's ok :-)
If you want to help me, please reach out here, by email (email@example.com) or LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cal-hewitt-1270a55b/
Hope you are doing well!!
I'd Glad to assist you.

@CalToronto your mostly going to get form responses here due to the nature of this board and general low quality of OP's job descriptions
If you have a Shopify Partner account make a post in the private partners sub forum, and get on the shopifypartners slack channel you will get more interaction there for polling.
If you do not have a Partner account and your going to develop things around the ecosystem you should probably sign up https://help.shopify.com/en/partners/about
(note: this is different from the experts program which is closed to applications)
a platform that spans across education, job/candidate matching & vetting, and community building - within the Shopify developer specialism.
That's missing a critical component: merchant vetting , and the indicators of budget and business|shopify education that have to go with that.
It's such a pervasive background thing it's hard to even make a quality problem statement about it that isn't dismissed as something that devs|agencies|shopify gloss over as just the investigative part of an onboarding process or just unaddressable human nature.
The forums are the public example data, awash in merchants clamoring for help but unable to connect to solutions or developers because of poor quality questions, misconceptions of shopify|technical features , or inability to delegate, etc etc.
