Accepting SNAP/EBT Payments for qualified goods

I am interested finding ways for small farms to sell their food online to SNAP/EBT customers. Does Shopify or Amazon Pay offer methods of accepting SNAP payments so that customer transactions can be handled online?

Paynowdirect seems like it is for WordPress only and not Shopify? Do you have a work around for this?

There is no workaround with Shopify. There is no option for accepting EBT's with Shopify.

We create new Word Press sites for our clients that want to take SNAP EBT payments. Then we add in the payment gateway from Card Knox. Shopify does not offer any SNAP EBT processing. I have asked Shopify about it, and they had no idea what I was talking about and has no interest in adding it to their product roadmap. Anyhow, www.paynowdirect.com can hook you up, if you are willing to switch platforms.  You have to weigh the benefits, our clients see about a 10-40% increase in revenues.
