Can I add custom VAT columns to my payment report?

Hi,

To help my accountant I would like to make changes to the Payment report.

I am using the following report: settings --> payments --> show payments (https://lottta.myshopify.com/admin/payments/payouts?selectedView=all).

Can I add columns to the export file? My sales typically includes multiple VAT percentages. Some products have 9%, some 21%. I do need to split the revenue in excl. 9% and excl. 21% (incl. VAT is also oke). Can I add these two columns to the existing report? I am using this report because I need to match the revenue to the weekly payments made by Shopify.

Thanks for your help or tips.

Hi @jeroenvandepol,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I'd be happy to provide some assistance with Shopify analytics and reports, to ensure this gets resolved.

As @CloudlabSam has mentioned, columns or rows cannot be added to a report. If applicable, you can however, utilize the existing filters within the report to make any necessary customizations. To learn more, I recommend checking out our Tailoring Your Reports documentation as it touches on this further.

Since you are looking to create a detailed report, I'd recommend checking out the Shopify App Store for an available reporting app. For ease, I've gone ahead and made a few suggestions listed below that you can look into:

Additionally, I'd recommend getting in touch with the app developers directly. They will be able to provide clarification on an app's capabilities and confirm whether or not the app will fit your shop's needs. To get in contact with an app developer, you can head to the Shopify App Store and select Support > Send A Message

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Hi there - unfortunately you cannot customize the payment report in Shopify.

Our Report Toaster app can help. We can add custom columns to a transaction report to show the revenue broken down based on your VAT rates. You can then schedule this report to be sent to your accountant via email or share a link with them. If you decide to install, just get in touch with support to have them help you get setup.
