Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi All.
I have integrated the Royal Mail Click & Drop (RMC&D) service into my Shopify store. The plan here is solely to send my website orders through to my RMC&D account, so I can print off labels for shipping.
I can now see that my 'Collections' have the option to add Click & Drop as a sales channel. Do I need to select this to feed orders through to my RM account? (I am sure it is the fact that I don't really see the RMC&D service as a sales channel that is making me uncertain here). Assuming I do have to select it, does this have any other implications/impacts I need to consider?

The Click & Drop app is built and supported by Royal Mail so I cannot confirm whether or not you need the Click & Drop option enabled in your product or collection's availability settings, but after checking Royal Mail's setup instructions for Shopify they make no mention of needing to do this. However, if you are not seeing the orders come through to your Click & Drop account, feel free to enable the sales channel in your product or collection's availability settings. The sales channel is only used in the backend so enabling it here should not have any adverse affect on your store.

Hi Victor. Thanks for coming back to me. I have activated the Click & Drop shipping channel on my collections. The site is under construction still and is set to test mode for checkout, so I am unable to send any orders through to RMC&D. Guess I will find out soon when I start selling for real. If I have any issues, I will come back on this chat. Thanks
