Error at checkout "No Match" "Street Address and Postal Code do not match"

Hi everyone, 


I have been in contact with Shopify live chat but they were unable to help. I have 2 customers who are trying to place orders but once they enter their credit card details and click "place order" they get the error message "street address and postal code do not match". They've both tried different credit cards and still get the same issue. 


I asked one of them to clear their browser cache, she did and now she is getting the error message "No match". 


We've had over 100 orders placed today and no one else has had this issue, and it has never come up before today. 


Both of these customers have ordered with us before and haven't had this issue before today. 


Any help would be greatly appreciated.


We use Shopify Payments.

Just received a message from a customer with this same situation - they tried several times, but kept getting "no match" error when trying to complete their order. Don't know browser info, but they were on a desktop. When they tried again, with the same account info, but on their phone, they were able to purchase with no issue. At this point, we've had no other complaints.

There was never a "resolution" from Shopify.  It just stopped happening for us.  I assumed it was a temporary glitch or something.

I just had the same issue.  Customer said they couldn't complete the order because it wouldn't accept her postal code.


I check the address on the Canada Post website, and Canada Post has a different postal code listed than the one she has used for years, and presumably has gotten other mail delivered to.  Maybe this has something to do with it.


Other customers have not had this problem.

I'm personally having this same issue.

Shopify cannot resolve.  I've spent hours on chat with them.


We have tried different browsers, clearing cache, moving to chrome incognito.


I've tried an alternate desktop.


I created a new email account.


Nothing is working!


Called my CC companies and they do not see the payment attempt.  There is a glitch that Shopify cant seem to resolve....

I am having the same issue this month! 

The google version address shows up properly and works for checkout but when the customer uses their proper postal code on Canada post look up the checkout doesn’t work!


The customer has ordered before and they never had this issue before for this For local delivery. 


This has happened with another customer too and I had to ask them to use the google postal code for check out to work for local delivery.
