Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi I was testing my Shopify to see how everything appears from a customers view and I noticed while trying to make a purchase the address I put in for London was not going through it said deliveries cannot be made to that address..... I wanted to know if maybe I had my account on the wrong settings .... Because I need to be able to deliver world wide... To most countries.... What should I do?

Hi, @NatuNatz!
Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.
This issue can be caused due to three main factors: shipping profiles, location, and the product itself. Here is a breakdown of what you should double check:
If you have any other questions, feel free to follow up and let me know! Additionally, are you able to share some more context around your shipping settings? Are you offering flat rate shipping? Are all of your products available internationally?

only thing now is I live in the UK, i have some of my products coming from the states which i have now set to deliver to the states and UK, how ever the shipping prices are looking like $30-$40...( covers face) are there cheaper option? or is it just not worth shipping to the UK form the states
Also i have on the same shopify account DS which i have set up for drop shipping from Ali Express, is there a way i can set up separate shipping for them as the rates and shipping from china is completely different.... i will like to use free shipping as i have included delivery cost in my price.
so i have 1 store with 2 different places my products are shipped from.... basically
Hey again, @NatuNatz!
Thanks for providing that additional information.
I understand that high shipping costs can often interfere with profits. However, there are a few things that you can optimize to create a better strategy that increases sales and goes easy on your bottom line. I suggest trying out the Shopify Shipping calculator to figure out your shipping costs. Then, apply some key principles around reducing the weight of your packages, choosing the right-sized package, keeping up with rate changes, etc to keep your costs as low as possible. We have a guide that goes into detail here.
In regards to your second question, setting up free shipping for your dropshipping products depends on how the service has been implemented. For instance, have you installed an app to your store to import these products? Depending on your answer, you will need to either set up a Custom Shipping Profile with your desired products and create a free shipping rate, or edit your App Shipping Profile to offer free shipping. Both of these options can be done directly in your Admin via the Shipping and delivery settings.
Kindly reply back to this thread with any questions or updates and we can continue our conversation further!
