Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi. I am a new store owner and I have a question.
for some religious beliefs, I have to turn off my Checkout and swap it with a contacting area where customers can tell me what they want then I can offer it to them and after that, I can send them a payment gate through Shopify to complete the order.
so is there any way I can do that please help I couldn't find any answer on the internet
Hi, @AwsZidan!
Thanks for reaching out in our Community Forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.
I understand that you are looking to turn off your checkout and have your customers reach out directly to you instead. This will be possible by completing three steps. First, you will need to hide your buy buttons so that your customers won't be able to add your products to the cart. This will ensure that no one will be able to check out. You can follow the steps here:
Secondly, you will want to set up a page on your storefront that allows customers to reach out to you. This is also known as a Contact us page but you can call the page what you would like. On this page, you would let your customers know what type of information to leave in the message. For instance, full name, address, phone number, and a full list of products that they would like to purchase. You can follow this guide to accomplish this.
Lastly, once you receive the order information from your customers, you can then create a draft order and send them an invoice via email. Once you do so, they will be able to complete the payment directly through Shopify. Here is a guide that will walk you through making draft orders.
