Hi @nancysbakeshop

Setting up delayed delivery dates for holiday orders in your Shopify store can be a great way to offer flexibility to your customers. You can achieve this by using apps or customizing your store settings. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to set it up:

Option 1: Use a Shopify App

  1. Choose a suitable app: Shopify offers various apps that can help you set up delayed delivery dates. Some popular options include:

    • Order Delivery Date: This app allows customers to select their preferred delivery date during the checkout process.
    • Orderify: Orderify lets customers choose their delivery date and time.
    • Zapiet: Zapiet provides delivery date and time selection along with other advanced features.
  2. Install the app: After choosing the app that suits your needs, install it on your Shopify store by following the app's installation instructions.

  3. Configure settings: Once the app is installed, configure the settings to enable delayed delivery dates. You can typically customize options such as:

    • Minimum and maximum lead times (how far in advance customers can select delivery dates).
    • Date format and calendar style.
    • Delivery fees (if applicable).
    • Blocked dates (e.g., when you're closed or unable to fulfill orders).
  4. Test the process: Place test orders to ensure that customers can select delayed delivery dates during checkout and that the orders are processed correctly.

Option 2: Here's the document that helps you set the delivery dates from Shopify Admin.

Feel free to ask for any further assistance and good luck for the festivity 🙂
