It's great to see you reaching out here for some guidance on Shopify Payments. I'd be glad to help you out with this!

Shopify Payments gives a great checkout experience for your customers, which offers them the ability to pay by credit card, use Google and Apple Pay. When it's enabled, you don't pay any transaction fees, which will save you money! 

You can find all the info about Shopify payments in the following link and also review the Shopify Payments Terms of Service right here, so you have all the information you need. Once you are happy to get started, and you are ready to activate Shopify Payments, you can head on over to Settings > Payments in your admin, click “Add Provider” and select Shopify Payments in the pop-up. You will then be asked to input your bank account information and a few other details, and those details will be reviewed by our Shopify Payments team. 

In regard to getting paid via payouts, you can check out this guide here on that very topic. You can also test Shopify Payments. To do so, you need to check the checkbox that says “Enable Test Mode”. Here’s our guide regarding Testing Shopify Payments, and a screenshot to help with navigation:
