How does Shopify Payments handle currency conversion to AUD?

I have enabled Shopify Payments on my Shopify store (I don’t accept payments through PayPal). 

However, my bank account only accepts Australian dollars. If my customers were to pay in US dollars, for example, how would this be deposited into my bank account? 
Would Shopify Payments automatically convert the currency into AUD? 

Please help me.

Thanks for your question!

If you would like to receive your payouts in AUD, you will only need to ensure you have selected AUD as your payout currency, which can be edited at any time by visiting Settings > Payments in your admin. This means that regardless of the currency in which your customer pays, you will ultimately receive that payment in your desired currency.
