I'm running into a strange problem where the local delivery option only shows up for some customers, and not others, even though they are all eligible.
I've set my radius to 10km, and had several orders come through successfully using local delivery. However, some customers have told me the option doesn't show up for them, even though they're within 10km.
I tested out putting in an order using their address from my computer, and it shows up fine.
They've sent me screenshots to confirm it is not showing up.
Is there any known reason why this might be happening? It's driving me nuts!
I believe I found the problem.
Google maps occasionally has the wrong postal code for an address.
I'm guessing shopify uses google maps for their local delivery app, so when the postal code a customer uses doesn't match what's in google maps, it removes the local delivery option.
It would be great if a customers address other than postal code is local, the local delivery option would still populate.
