Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
our Shopify store has always been direct-to-consumer and this part of our business (retail) is associated with an LLC.
we recently joined the JOOR marketplace and have implemented the sales channel. however, our CFO does not want us to capture payment on wholesale orders via Shopify because our bank account associated with the store is reserved for the direct to consumer business, and this would create tax issues.
I found out that if we upgrade to Shopify Plus we would be able to add a secondary bank account, but I was told that all payments would still be routed through the primary bank account.
is there a way to customize or structure our store or the JOOR sales channel to accommodate both businesses while keeping them "separate"?
thanks in advance for any insights you can provide!
