Who pays for shipping in drop off orders: customer or business?

When I get an order, and drop off at post office, do I pay out of pocket to ship? Or is it already paid for by the customer at checkout? I just want to make sure theres no unexpected costs when I drop packages off.

You need to decide how you are managing the shipping rates at checkout.

You have the option to offer:

1. Shopify flat-rate shipping and provide free shipping or flat-rate shipping at checkout.

2. Carrier-calculated rates at checkout. You require an account with the carrier, an app to integrate with the carrier, and CCS enabled on your Shopify plan to use this option.
