Why am I getting a payment error on my new online store?

Hello,

I recently set up a shop in Shopify and tried to activate Shopify Payments. Shopify asks me to complete the account set up with a template. When filling in all required information I receive the error message:

"There are errors with the account: Unable to update your account at this time. Please try again later."

I tried to empty the cache from Chrome and also use another browser as Edge but I still face the same problem. So far Shopify support could not help me. Is there someone else who has faced the same problem or have some advice?

This notice usually occurs when there is an error validating the account on our banking partner's end or the account doesn't meet the Shopify Payments eligibility requirements as shown here.

If you believe your account should meet the requirements, then the best next step would be to get in touch with our support team here so that they can check in with our banking partners for you. We would not be able to resolve this from the Community forums, as we cannot authenticate you here.
