Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Good evening everyone, I hope you are well… I have just started e-commerce on shopify of course… To test the payment methods I put a product at $0.62 and I bought it with a friend's card on my site (just to simulate a real order) so, I collected the money and all but at the payout level it already takes a long time to deposit the cash in my account (in fact I haven't even received it yet it's been 4 days since I wait) then when I looked at the amount to transfer it's literally half so Shopify sends me $0.30. I'm lost I don't understand anything does this mean that Shopify will take half the price of my items?
Thanks in advance for your time
Hi, @Mary237.
Thank you for reaching out!
To confirm, you are using Shopify Payments as your payment gateway, correct? If so, your fees associated with each order would have been provided when you selected a Shopify plan for your store. I will need to know what plan you are on, and then I can provide you with the credit card rates.
Please let me know if you have any further questions! I would love to learn more about your business. What type of products do you sell?
