Why does my checkout process fail regardless of payment method?

I need help with my shopify store.. when I or anyone tries to purchase on the checkout it says “There was an issue processing your payment. Try again or use a different payment method.” No matter what payment method I use or anyone uses . Can anyone help?

Hello @Tylershiplee!

 

Could you tell me what country you're based in, and what are the Payment Providers that you have set up on your store?

 

One way to find out what is causing this issue is to go to Orders > Abandonded checkouts in your Shopify admin, click into a recent order there, and scroll down to the Timeline section:

Here, a failed checkout is recorded as en event, and usually it should also show you the reason/what type of error occurred.

 

Finding this could be key in understanding why your payments are not processing, so please have a look and let me know what you find.

 

I would also love to hear a little bit more about your store and products, to see if I can offer any other advice.

I’m from uk and also I have PayPal and visa and Apple Pay and google and Samsung pay. Those things on my store

getrichnow.uk. — my only item says 50% off and 1p. It is supposed to be £20 it’s just I was testing it so I set it as 1p at the time being
