Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Why is my payout status still pending after 10 days? I have checked my payments, my bank account is correct and it is set to pay into my bank every business day.
What do I need to do to transfer funds to my account? Why is it taking so long?
Hi there @Rebecca33
Thanks for reaching out here in the Shopify Community - you are very welcome!
I understand that your payouts are pending after 10 days, and you have some concerns about this. I would be happy to provide assistance.
If a transaction is marked as pending, it generally means the sale has been made but the funds have not yet been transferred to your bank account through a Shopify Payments Payout. Payouts can be pending for a number of reasons.
Are you seeing any error messages or notifications in either your Shopify admin homepage, or in the Settings > Payments section of your admin that may be related to these payouts? I would suggest double checking your email inbox to see if any of our teams have reached out to you with information about a possible payments issue.
Thanks for confirming that the bank account details you provided for the payouts are accurate, and that you have it set to payout to your bank every business day. Just so you are aware, even after funds are sent to your bank, it's important to note that they will likely not immediately appear in your account balance, as banks can take anywhere from 1 to 5 business days to process deposits (although it's generally within 24 to 72 hours).
I would encourage you to to select your region from this Shopify Payments region list, so that you can view the minimum pay period applicable for your specific region.
We cannot access your account here via the Community, so if you are unable to figure out why this is happening even after reading the above information, then you will need to contact our support team directly via our help center here, so that we can take a look at your account and do our best to help identify the cause of your pending payouts.

I am having this same issue. There’s no notifications and no emails from Shopify saying they need more information or there’s been an error. I went to help center and it was no help. There’s no way to reach out and contact anyone with Shopify to get any support. I already shipped this product out and but my money is being held onto. Why? I need to be contacted by someone with Shopify asap. This is incredibly frustrating there’s no information as to why this is happening.
Thank you! 🙂
Hi @SkagitWild
Thanks for reaching out here for assistance.
I'm sorry to hear about the frustration you're experiencing with getting in touch with our team. I would be happy to address these issues and help you to get connected with us.
Thanks for confirming that you haven't received any notifications or emails from our team already. You mentioned that you went to the help center and there was no way to reach our team - I would be happy to explain how you can reach us.
When you click this link here, you will see a chat assistant in the bottom right of the page. You will need to interact with the assistant and explain the issue, so that you can view appropriate resources. However, if you simply need to connect with our live support team, you can try typing something such as 'live chat' and it should provide you with an option to select your store and reach our team.
If that doesn't work, just let me know and if possible, provide some screenshots of what you see from your side, and we can troubleshoot this further.

Shopify just started this! I had a shop for many years and it was always 3 days . I have been fighting this issue for weeks now . I think it’s rotten that they hold onto our money this long ! They are probably getting interest on it or getting better stats for the overall gross income so they can get more money themselves to invest in other things ,
I am looking to change to square .
