Why isn't my active PayPal account showing as a payment option?

Ive connected a pay pal account and it says it’s active but when I go to test it the option isn’t there

Thank you for connecting with us and expressing your concerns around PayPal activation. From what you have shared it is successfully connected in the backend, however, does not appear at checkout.

 

I will need to gather more context from you in order to troubleshoot and better guide with next steps. For starters, can you share your website URL with me so I can also recreate the checkout experience?

 

Additionally, we are unable to access the backend of your site on our public forums due to security and privacy reasons, so make sure to share a screenshot with me of what you see in Settings > Payments > PayPal connection. Of course, be sure to block out any identifiable or private information.

While I wait to hear from you I did want to let you know that I found a few reports of delayed PayPal connections for the first-time set up so I wonder if you were also experiencing that. This issue has since been resolved, therefore, I trust things should be working as expected on your end.
