Why won't my Visa card connect to my new store for plan payment?

I've been trying to connect my Visa card to Shopify store for plan payment but it's keeps rejecting, I'm New in this store, please can someone help me out 😔

Diving into your issue, can you please make sure your credit card or payment method meets the following requirements:

1. It is a debit card or a post paid credit card (pre-paid credit cards are not supported, but may work, in some cases).

 

2. It is cobranded with Visa, Mastercard, or Amex.

3
Capable of accepting charges in your billing currency.

 

4. Capable of making online purchases.

 

5. Capable of accepting recurring billing.

 

6. Has appropriate funds available.

 

7. Entered billing address and details the same as what your bank has on file.

 

8.  Cannot have any restrictions on how much the bank will allow to be processed at once.

 

What is the specific error you received? Can you send a screenshot of it? The best first step is to reach out to your credit card provider to see if there are any issues. If you meet all the above requirements and the card is still not being accepted, then I advise reaching out to your card provider or bank to inquire about any potential issues. The responsibility lies with the card provider to ensure the proper functioning of payment cards.
