Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
Sorry to shout, but my previous requests have been ignored. 😕 I have an ipad mini 2 that is maxed out at iOS 12.5 and cannot afford to buy a new one just to be able to upgrade this app anytime in the near future. Therefore, this absolutely NEEDS to be fixed TODAY, please:
There were two other issues in my previous message that I really would've loved to have seen fixed, but if you would PLEASE at least just fix this one thing before tomorrow, I would very much appreciate it. Thanks!
Chris

Sure @KetanKumar - just open the POS on an ipad and try to add a custom sale. Then you'll see the issue.

Hi @Chrisjigsaw
Thank you for sharing your feedback here and on your other post about the current functionality of the Shopify POS system. I can fully understand that upgrading your POS device to run newer versions of the app may not be always feasible and that improving your current experience is definitely important.
For the "Custom Sales" banner, there is not an option to remove it at this time. I will definitely be submitting that as feedback to our developers to consider, but most likely that is not something that would be removed from the POS version you are running right now.
There also is not an option to edit custom product titles once saved. This is also great feedback that I have passed along on your behalf.
For the loading time for your product catalog in the app, that is definitely going to be related to the catalog size. Once the POS app has indexed your products (when you first sign into the app) the search moves to an offline search, which is faster generally compared to requiring an internet connection. With such a large catalogue of items it can definitely create a slower search. Upgrading to a device that offers a higher performance might help with that.
