How to sync saved carts between two registers?

We run a bar and have two physical locations with two registers at each location. When customers come in, we collect a card to open a Saved Cart (or tab) under their name. When the same customer wants to check out, we have to process their payment on the same register we opened their Saved Cart because the two registers can’t sync Saved Carts.

We’ve requested this feature many times since signing up with Shopify in late 2020. Is this on the developers roadmap? It’s an essential feature that will not only help existing POS Pro customers like ourselves, but also a HUGE selling point for potential future customers running a bar, coffee shop, or any retail operation that requires more than one register.

I think my app can help with this! (Shared save carts between POS devices in the same location)

I have developed an app for Shopify POS recently, which you can utilize back the "Save cart" and "View saved carts" tiles like previously, the saved carts are also accessible by other devices that shares the same location. (You can also view the cart data on the Shopify Admin)

The app name is Yagi POS Cart Helper (https://apps.shopify.com/yagi-pos-cart-helper ), the app comes with a 14 days free trial which you can give it a try. (I am happy to extend it if you need more time, or let me know if you are testing it on a development store)

After installing the app, you can then add the "Save Cart" and "View Saved Cart" tiles in your Shopify POS, and you can save cart and view cart easily as before. The saved cart is also viewable by another POS device, as long as they share the same location.
