Create product api response too slow?

Hi, there, may I ask, we call this API (https://shopify.dev/docs/admin-api/rest/reference/products/product?api%5Bversion%5D=2020-10#create-2...) I found a problem when creating product admin rest api. When we created a new product with multiple product variants and multiple images, the API response was very slow. Is this a normal performance? Is there any way to speed it up?

Hey @Jack001,

When creating a new product it's expected to see a higher response time when including images, as Shopify needs to download and process the image before responding to your request. 

In most cases, I'd expect to see the response to take an extra second or 2 per image. This can vary depending on the size of the image, and where it's hosted.

If you still think the response time you're seeing is too long, kindly provide the product_id for a product that experiences the issue, and we'll investigate further.
