Replacement for the API?

i want to know if there is some way to integrate things (apps,site, etc...which is everything i think) without the API method my whole point on that at least for now is the strict API thing with shopify(
I'm Asking cause the API limitation in shopify)

So if there is such a think i would be more then happy to hear ....
