Sales Channel Development Paypal Payment

Hello, we are currently developing a Shopify Sales Channel App. Since we want to build our own native checkout form and accept payments directly in our app, we will have to apply for payment processing. However, to create an order in the merchants Shopify Account, we need to use the Checkout API and create a checkout as well as submit the customer's payment details to Shopify. - correct?

Unfortunately according to the API Documentation we can only submit Credit Card payment information. But what if a customer on our platform wants to pay with paypal or (like many people in Germany) by purchase on invoice?
