Boost and Minimal Theme not compatible - reverts to default layout

I am using Boost App for all my search and filtering but only just realised they dont support the minimal theme

Its been working great but the default layout looks shocking and i want to tweak it all

Why do they not support minimal theme ? Is it because its a new theme ??

ARRAGGH

So i either swap themes or swap search/filtering app - dont want to negatively affect a years worth of trading/SEO by messing around with anything 

Advice please!
