Tira here to help.
Thanks for reaching out in the Shopify Community and for these screenshots. This is helpful.
It sounds like you want to add a feature to your store so that your customers can automatically add their own coupons to the checkout.
We don’t have a feature that looks exactly like the ones you shared in your screenshot, but you can create automatic discounts for your customers to use.
Automatic Discounts allow you to create and provide a percentage, or fixed amount or a Buy X and Get Y discount that would apply automatically to your customer’s checkout once their cart has all eligible items that are required for the discount. For example, if you wanted to offer a $2.00 discount on a specific product, you could offer that with an automatic discount. The customer would need to add that specific product to their cart to receive the discount of $2.00 and a code would be applied to their checkout.
Here is our help doc with the steps to create automatic discounts.
We also have some apps from our App Store that can help you automate this process that you could check out here:
Discount On Cart‑ Pro Edition! by Shop Doctors - This app allows the customer to add a discount and see their savings while they are shopping.
RebateKey: Coupons & Rebates by RebateKey, Inc.- You can create rebate and coupon promotions on your store.
We also have similar apps listed in our App Store here: Coupon Apps. These are apps made by third-party app developers, should you have any questions or comments, please reach out to them by using the information listed under the “Support” section of the app’s page.
I would also like to share our blog post: 19 Ways to Use Offers, Coupons, Discounts, and Deals to Generate More Sales that you might find helpful. It covers the pros and cons of coupons & discounts, who they are meant for, the different types, how to use them, and how to make the most out of them for your business.
I would love to know your thoughts!
How have you been? Were you able to find a way to add and apply coupons to your store like in your example? Do you have any questions about the resources I shared earlier?
Let me know!
