Custom checkout app

Hi,

I am planning to create custom checkout page on {subdomain}/checkoout using private app. But I am not sure how I can fetch cart, shipping rates and apply discount codes using api.
As cart.js is returning empty cart while using. I am planning to use webhooks to fetch the cart. But still the issue is with shipping rates and the discount.

Hope there is some solution for it.
