Disconnect eBay account?

I was wondering if there was a way to disconnect an eBay account on a Shopify store that is already closed? I cant get in to disconnect it.

Nick here from Shopify. 

Removing your eBay account from your closed store shouldn't be a problem. We will need to verify a few details with you first though. I will send you a direct email about this and once you have verified we can look into this for you then.

Is your account with Shopify closed now with the eBay account attached? Just to confirm, is the best email to reach you on the attached to your forum account here? Having the same issue - had eBay connected to a previous Shopify store, which has been closed.  Trying to connect to my new store, but says I first need to disconnect from old store, which I do not have access to anylonger
