How can I get a refund for an accidental app subscription?

I need a refound for an app subscription i accidentally bought  . 
I received a lot of emails for a few days that I didn't pay for some application named easy ads, but I didn't want to either. I did not know how to uninstall the application from the shopify account. That application took money from my card directly without permision.

Please help me.

I need that money to continue my shopify subscription.

This isn't something that you could find help for on the forums here. I'd start by reaching out to the Easy Ads support team directly and asking them for a refund. I believe this is the app you're referring to? (https://apps.shopify.com/easy-ads-for-facebook). If that's the one, then their contact email is support@easyadsapp.com or else you can reach them directly via their support page (https://easyadsapp.com/contact-us). 

 

If they aren't able to grant a refund, then you're probably out of luck. You could try reaching out to Shopify's support team directly (https://help.shopify.com/en/support/login), but they'll probably not be able to refund you if you're outside of the trial period for the app (if the app had a trial period). 

 

This is even more tricky to get a refund since it's an ad-related app. Most likely, if you've been charged via the app, then they've already ran the ads, so they'll probably not be able to refund you. 

 

I wish you the best of luck with this one, but I think your only real option here is to contact the app's support team directly, using the email above. 

 

To make sure you're not charged again in the future, you should remove the app from your Shopify store. Here's the official help doc on how to remove an app: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/apps/uninstalling-apps

Thanks for reaching out! If you want to request a refund or credit for an app that you purchased from the Shopify App Store, then you can use the Get Support button to contact the app's developer. The developer might approve or deny your refund request, depending on the circumstances. Check the app's listing page or the developer's home page to see if they have a refund policy.

As the app charge was processed using Shopify, then the app's developer can issue you a refund or give you a credit. Credits will be applied toward any future Shopify App Store purchases. All credits that are applied to Shopify App Store purchases are documented on your subscription bill.

 

Please note that if you don't want to use an app anymore, then you can uninstall an app from your store. Let me know if that helps!
