How can I track custom data in sales reports for team earnings?

We have a customer that wants to use our site for their youth organization to sell product and earn money for the associated teams.  We've used the Product Options & Customizer app to allow customers to enter custom data on a product (such as attribute this order to person X or put this number on a decal, etc.), but all of that data has to be tracked by hand, invoice by invoice.  When we run a sales report, custom data is not included, so we cannot simply sort or filter orders for that tracking.  This means over the course of the month, we'd have to manually track which team gets how much earnings; there are a lot of teams in the association so this would take a lot of time better used on something else.  Is there some app or something that would let the customer enter which team they are on and we could simply run a report for accounting?

Usually, this type of custom data can be found in Order attributes and/or Line item properties (depending on the information). If this is the case with your custom data, we can definitely include it in sales reports and also use it to create custom fields.

If i select an invoice and export it to a CSV file, the data entered by the customer shows up in a column titled, "Note Attributes" but does not associate with a particular line item.  For example:

According to Shopify.dev, the note attributes are associated with an order and show extra information added to the order.
