Had a quick question about the new Polaris update.

I saw that Shopify has switched over to Figma in April but for some reason I can't find Figma Library to download. Has anyone been able to find the Figma file?

@stephenasonye. I'm assuming an official one is on the way — but in the mean time, you can download the Sketch plugin, and then just import that into Figma. It actually works pretty seamlessly, and was what I was advised to do when I asked an internal team about it.

Yes, Ben is right. I would also recommend downloading the Sketch plugin and importing into the file into Figma.

Just know that converting elements from the Components & Templates pages into your own Figma symbols is very time consuming (i.e. having to create new symbols for headers, colors, tables, etc). On the bright side, there aren't many styleguides online as comprehensive as Polaris -- so it's still worth it and is probably your best bet.

Thanks! Could you link me to the plugin? I think I read somewhere where they said the plugin as be disabled

@stephenasonye you download the UI kit here: https://polaris.shopify.com/resources/polaris-ui-kit then import into your Figma dashboard.

Ohhh ok I gotcha, I thought you meant there was some sort of plugin you needed to import to Figma.

Hi,

Is there any update regarding this?

The sketch file is not up-to-date, it's with Shopify old UI colors (Blue) and effects.
