We face the same issue before.  It seems that Shopify only allows the installation of public apps. If you want to test this app, please install it in the store of your developer account.

I also had a similar issue when I tried using

shopify create node
shopify serve

What worked for me was following this tutorial:

(just keep ngrok running when the tutorial says to close it)
