Why isn't my Retail Express app working at checkout?

I have used retail express app to add click and collect.

I have checked and followed their guidelines.

It works for cart and product page.

But when I click on checkout after selecting any pick-up location.

Checkout still wants shipping address.

I need to know how it works.

So if you check there is option check stock in store where it shows local pickup locations with available stock.

 

Now if you go to the cart it there are two options store pickup and home.
So when you click on store pickup options it comes with map and locations available for available products where customer wants to ship or collect the product.

 

After selecting outlet or location it go to checkout but it has come with filled information of shipping address not again I have to fill the shipping info again.

 

The issue is I have to fill information again for this.

How did you get the click and collect feature to work with retail express please?

I set up the free click and collect rates inside the retail express shipping are, Does this need to be in a separate zone of it's own?

Hi, There are 2 ways to achieve Click and Collect with Retail Express. They have their own integration which collapses all locations to a single "Channel". If you want Shopify multi location we offer the original Shopify integration.  Ypu cn then use Shopify fulfilment and pickup at Checkout.

Thanks for your reply,

If Retail Express is used to handle ALL inventory then shopify won't let me add inventory to my 1 click and collect location, the error in shopify is "Can't stock at this location because inventory isn't managed by Shopify."

 

How can I fix this issue as the click and collect coding is already set up in the backend of the website, so if I can add inventory to the 1 location inside shopify the click and collect feature will auto appear on the product page.  Thanks

Hi,

Unfortunately you cannot interact with Retail Express Inventory. You should be managing Stock from within Retail Express only. Note that the Retail Express integration does not support multiple locations only through checkout.

Your options are to work within the Retail Express connector or implement the original TranslatorHQ connector we supply. This will allow you to have this but will replace any updates you make in Shopify with the stock levels in Retail Express.

I suggest you stock adjust in Retail Express.

Before , click and collect was working when I turned on multiple locations inside Shopify, how can I get it to work again, please? Thanks

Sorry we have our own integration business TranslatorHQ.

You will need to turn off all those locations and work with Support to re-enable the integration. You can try disable and re-enabling but only once all the locations are gone.
