How can I center align my custom code on the Debut theme?

I need help aligning my custom code to center please.

I am trying to align this quiz to the middle of my page. I tried inserting the <center> code I saw in other messages, but didn't work for me. I'm using the Debut theme.

This is the code I use:

1. Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code
2. Asset->/theme.css ->paste below code at the bottom of the file.

.custom-content {justify-content: center;}
