How can I center the page title in the Dawn theme?

I'm migrating from Debut theme to Dawn theme and notice it lacks basic editing possibilities when working with text and images (which is suck because it is 2.0 version and all...).

Anyway, I'm trying to find how to center the Title on the pages you create using the Pages section under the Online Store.

** On the Debut theme the title is centered and on Dawn theme it is align to the Left.

All you need to do to center your headings on Dawn (and any theme that is Shopify 2.0) is:

Identify the problem

OK now go to your Shopify back end and edit your theme code:

Press control f and search for h1 then add

text-align: center; 

And we’re done

Hey @HamishDavisonIC ! This is a nice solution that opens other options as well. The thing is, it changes all the title h1 design and I wanted to avoid it.

What I mean - I have a regular Page and the Product Page - they both use this h1 design and both are affected. I was looking to change the setting only for the Pages.

No no, just the title of that page. You can see that it's already centered because I followed the instructions you gave, but the product title are now centered as well, and I wanted to avioid that.

Try putting it in

section-main-page.css

instead of base.css

How to center heading only to home page without affecting footer heading and other pages.

You can simply remove this title by backspace and add Rich text instead. Use it as the title for the rest aswell. Takes only 5 minutes. Rich text has middle centre and right and you don't have to code anything.

This seems to only center the heading on the desktop version of the website and not the mobile version.
