Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
I am currently building a new ecommerce site at www.nomadicproducts.com. How do I remove the Shop Pay block from the product pages?
Near top of product pages shows " Pay in full or in 4 interest-free installments for orders between $50 and $1000 with Shop Pay. Learn more." People aren't going to need to make installment payments on my products. So I'd like to remove this language. Unless of course someone can convince why such a tool is needed. Cheers!

This is an accepted solution.
sorry for that issue can you please try this code
1. Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code
2. Asset->/timber.scss.liquid->paste below code at the bottom of the file.
.product-single__meta shopify-payment-terms {display: none;}
Do you completely remove shop pay on your product page...
Basically showing installment will encourage people to buy.
Thanks @BywayWriter

Nothing working for me
Hey, I had the same error but when I go to "Assets", the "timber.scss.iquid" is not showing.
I have the same issue. "Timber.scss.liquid" does not show up under assets. I really want to remove the shop pay button from my product page. It is very confusing for people who are not familiar with it and can impact sales. Thanks for your help.
Sorry you are facing this issue, it would be my pleasure to help you.

I also have no "timber.scss.iquid" in my Assets folder. I have a very old theme.
I can't figure out how to hide the Shop Pay installments info on the product page. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

.product-single__meta shopify-payment-terms {
display: none;
}
but sir, I do not have the "timber.scss.liquid" folder!
HERE IS THE SOLUTION! I FOUND IT ALREADY
I was having the same problem—I don't even take Shop Pay so it didn't make sense that this banner was there. I'm not an expert in liquid, but here is how I removed the banner from my Minimal theme:
In product.template.liquid
I removed line 194 that read {{ form | payment_terms }}
*save*
@Joaquin_Orellan Thank you!! I found the same code in Sections>Product Template> Line 162. This is in theme Debut.
do you have any issue
Hi from aletacollagen.com I am also looking to remove the shop pay instalments as well, i believe it slows down my store, but i would still like to give customer the option to pay with shop pay at checkout, will this fix my problem?
i accidentaly posted this to another comment but here it is again.

Hi Ketan,
There is no base.css under Asset in Debut theme that I am using. What other file is appropriate for adding this code? Also, I want to make sure that it is clear that this issue ONLY happens in desktop for me and not on my phone!
Thanks,
Haleh
Hi KetanKumar, I followed the instructions above for the Dawn theme, but Shop Pay installments are still showing on the product page. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Hi,
This is making me so unhappy to the point of wanting to leave shopify. I loose customers because of ShopPay!! Please hep me remove this from desktop version. I had left you messages above that Asset->/base.css does not exist in Debut theme and I am not able to add the code you suggested. Please help me remove ShopPay from the desktop version or refer me to someone who knows about how to fix this issue in Debut. Thank you.
I found the {{- form | payment_terms -}} variable and deleted it. Problem solved.
Did you noticed any issues after deleting that payment element?
Hello, I did as you said and deleted it fine on my product page. However, the "4 installments" text still shows on my home page where my featured product is. Any help? Thanks!
