How to resize the main collection image in Dawn theme?

Hi, I'm using the Dawn theme and need help! The main collection image in the collection page is stretched and distorting the collection image (which is square). How can I resize this image only for the collections page and not for the collections collage on the homepage? If that's not possible, how can I choose a different resized photo for this page? Thanks so much!

You can choose different image for specific page. But yes there is scope that you can resize collection page product images with code. You can follow this to understand how you can resize it https://www.shopify.in/partners/blog/img-url-filter. 
Next you have to find the image code and make it conditional e.g. If template == 'collection'  use your custom code else use the default code. In this way you will find changes will implement on collection page only.

Thank you so much! I did not figure out how to resize the image, but I did manage to change the default collection settings to remove the banner image which was distorting the product picture. 🙂
