1). When you purchase a theme, it's licensed only to the store you originally bought it for. These paid themes are often made and supported by skilled third-party developers, which is why they can't be used for multiple stores. We've outlined this in our Terms of Service on Section 9.4 here.
But if you're thinking of having multiple stores and want to use the same theme for all of them, no problem! Shopify has an amazing collection of free themes here at this link for you to explore. They're completely free to use, making them perfect for your needs. So go ahead and give them a try!
2). If you are a merchant operating a Shopify-powered store, and you close the store, stop paying your subscription fees, or we terminate your account, we retain store information for two years before we begin the deletion process. This can be seen in our data retention policy here at this page.
I'd love to hear more about your store and what you're selling? If you haven't already, please check out our help centre here where you can ask questions just like this!

The license for a Shopify theme, including Prestige, typically applies to a single store. If you want to use the theme on multiple websites, you may need to purchase additional licenses or check the specific terms of use provided by the theme developer or Shopify. Using a theme on multiple websites without the proper licensing may violate terms of service.
If you cancel your Shopify subscription temporarily, your store will be paused, and you won't be able to make changes or access certain features. However, your data and settings are usually retained for a certain period (typically 30 days or more). During this time, you can reactivate your subscription and continue where you left off without significant data loss.
It's essential to review Shopify's terms and policies regarding temporary pauses or cancellations, as they may update their policies over time. Always backup your data before making any significant changes to avoid potential loss. If you have specific concerns, you may want to reach out to Shopify's support for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
