Hi, there.

Dallas here from the Shopify Social Care Team.

When it comes to adding an MX record you will need to go in and add each one individually. So you have made it to Online Store > Domains > Manage > DNS Setting according to the photo you have shared. Then you have clicked on Add Custom Record > MX Record. That's fantastic, great job.

After you click into MX record you will need to add the information for the first MX record and then click Confirm. That will add the first one in. In order to add all 4 you will need to repeat the same steps for all 4.

Does that make sense? If you need more assistance please let me know! I am happy to help in any way that I can.

Hi, there.

Where are you seeing these steps? It doesn't look like anything in the Shopify Admin. Are you able to share the link of where you're seeing this?

This was from Google.

I was integrating G suit to Shopify.
Now it works, thanks for your support. 🙂

The link that you gave doesn't appear to be associated with Shopify from what I am seeing from what you shared. However, I did find this great link here that walks you through all of the steps required to connect GSuite with your Shopify account.

First, you'll have to go to your Shopify Store Admin and click on Online Stores > Domain. That will take you to where you're going to connect GSuite to Shopify. Have you tried out these steps yet?

Hi, I have configured the MX records on Shopify and deleted the default one, however I still cannot receive any gsuite emails. I have done everything to the T. Any advice?

Hey, there.

May I ask when you made these adjustments? When it comes to things involving domains and domain records it can take a while for all the settings to fully propagate.

Did you by chance make these adjustments within the past 72 hours?

Are you able to share a screenshot of what you're seeing? I think that might help me figure out the best next steps for this.

Thank you for sending those screenshots over! I won't be able to help with what MX records from Google need to go into Shopify since I don't have any access to the back end of your google account. I have this link from our Help Center on Setting up email forwarding for your Shopify domain however, it doesn't go into the specific detail that you need

I found this link from Google that talks about these steps in more detail.

Make sure you don't miss this step either:

If it's still not working then you'll want to contact Google to get more specific steps on the best way to proceed. In order to save time searching for the contact information, I found the link for you so you can get in touch by clicking this here

Thank you reply,

As I mention earlier that correct MX records are already set at shopify account but these are not propagated from your end, I talked to google support as well and they also tired many things and finally told to contact shopify support to check with them why MX records are not propagated from there end.

For this I think I'm going to need to take a closer look at this.

I'm going to send you an email to the address associated with this account. From there we can work to verify your store.

I have a similar question but in regards to "A" records, I am also trying to add 4 A records from Gsuite into my Shopify DNS Settings, but I can only add one IP address? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

Same issue here.

In my Shopify admin page it shows that G Suite is enabled.

l have manually entered all 5 MX values from Google Workspace to my DNS records, but when l try to activate Gmail after 5mins of checking l get this message "We’re currently unable to set up your email. You might need to wait longer for your domain host to update your information. If that doesn’t happen soon, try setting up email again".

Google has changed everything in "Worskpace -My Domains- Admin Console" and l am now unable to find the "Synthetic DNS records" section.

It's been 24hrs since l made these adjustments.

Please HELP!
