When trying to create a nested menu on the Debut theme it switches the orientation from vertical drop-down format (first photo) to horizontal column format (second photo) as shown in the attached photos. I do not want this behavior, I want "Collections" to just stay another main menu item and have its own sub-menu. Any ideas why this is happening? Thanks.
Note: As this is a live site I do not have the nested menu enabled as it looks terrible.

Hi @kigol,
The debut theme should allow you to create a Multi-Level dropdown if not then this needs to fix inside the menu code.
If you just want a quick fix you can use the app
If you need any help to fix please contact me at rajatsharma.web@gmail.com.
Thanks
Rajat
I am trying to avoid using 3rd party apps just for the sake of a menu feature, especially since this functionality should exist in the theme. Is it possible for anyone to look at my site-nav code and tell me what to change to get the results I want?
@kigol Sure I can take a look into code and will try to provide a solution.
Please share the store access to my email: rajatsharma.web@gmail.com
Thank you I've sent you my site-nav.liquid file
Hi, is anyone else able to help me? Rajat never got back to me..
Did you find a fix for this? I am having the same issue.
cheers,
Emma
Hi there - did anyone find a solution for this? I hate the appearance of the horizontal menu for the sake of a nested menu. If there's anyone who can help with some coding to keep it vertical, and have the nested menus only appear when hovering/selecting the parent menu that would be awesome!
