All things Shopify and commerce
Hello!
I was wondering if there is a way to open up options from another option for example:
1st option: select your product
-canvas
-metal frame
and that the second options are based on what they selected first, for example, if someone select "prints" then another option opens up with the "sizes" for that specific option. Is this understandable? lol thank you in advance!
@greyssi yes there is a way you can do it using JavaScript/jQuery look at the tutorial
Tutorial thanks.
Thank you for your response! is there a video to achieve this step by step? I am a little lost with the picture in the tutorial.
Hi @greyssi,
I have a simple solution for your issue that doesn't require any coding. You can achieve it by using the free Easify Product Options app 🤗.
Here's a quick demonstration on how you can set it up using the app:
For the "Print" choice, create another option that enables customers to choose from relevant sizes for print.
Similarly, for the "Canvas" choice, create an option that allows customers to select from relevant canvas sizes.
Lastly, for the "Metal Frame" choice, create an option where customers can choose from relevant frame sizes.
Once you have set up these options, you can assign them to your relevant product(s) accordingly.
By following these steps, you will have a streamlined setup that allows customers to select their preferred product type (Print, Canvas, or Metal Frame) and then choose the corresponding size options based on their selection.
I hope this solution helps you achieve your desired outcome 🙌.
