All things Shopify and commerce
Hey guys,
I've recently started running facebook ads, and I've been running targeted facebook and broad conversion campaigns for them. So far I've spent $100 across 2 days, and have gotten hundreds of link clicks however only one singular add to cart and no checkouts/conversions whatsoever. I've double checked and my links work fine and there's nothing wrong with the ads. Is there something I'm missing for setup, and how can I increase conversion rate, whether it be "warming up my pixel", or just keep on running it?
I have very decent stats as far as my ad sets go. I average around a 0.55-0.6 CPC, a 4-5% CTR (Link click through, not total), and around a $20 CPM, which could be a bit high but I don't see a problem with that. I've had hundreds of sessions on my shopify but my conversion rate is just zero.
Here is my website: https://ezpot.store/products/cooker-pot, I would appreciate any feedback on it aswell.
Hi, @dpuk
Thanks for posting your query to the forums.
I understand you are wanting to understand why your ads aren't converting despite the good click through rate. Taking a look at your site, while you've done a great job, it simply isn't set up to convert.
First, the link you provided is a 404. I would check that to make sure it isn't one of the links you're promoting.
Next, you have no contact information and your policies are very limited. This is an immediate red flag to consumers as there is no way to get a hold of you if they aren't satisfied. Make sure to add contact information and detailed policies to your store's footer. This will create trust and professionalism.
While I see you have more product details when clicking through to the specific product page, your site currently looks like a single landing page store. When all your products features are hidden, behind the small 'view full details' button, you aren't showing your customers why your product is the best. I would recommend moving all product information to your home page so customers can see why they should buy your product.
Finally, what may seem like a small detail, is your logo and favicon. Currently you don't have a favicon, and your logo is text. I would instead create custom branding through a site like Canva.com which is 100% free and easy to use.
Hi I was wondering if you could take a look at my site. I am having the same problem.
