How can I reduce product SKU numbers in my online store?

Hi. I am trying to push a product through to my store and keep getting the error message of there being over 100 SKUs for the product. I tried to find the SKUs but can't seem to locate. Is there a way to downsize this number and where and how do I do this?

Hi

Sounds like you may have too many options set up for the product and it is going over the max limit of 100 variations that Shopify has. You may need to remove some option values for that product.

I believe I am having the same issue. What do you mean "remove some option values." Where do I go first to do that, and how do you do that?

I received information on what to do to fix the problem but not how to do
it. I'm just going to let it stand the way it is. I have a total of 7 items
on my product list using the same SKU number, which is not a number. It
just shows "PRODUCT."

I don't think there's anyone who can solve this as I have been reading
articles and sending emails with no results. I have to get back to running
my store so I am glad it's only 7 items (as of right now). I hope I don't
come across this on additional ones.

Choose the edit products button in dsers and remove the variants before importing the product
