Is there a way to delete images from Library?

Thanks for reaching out in our Community Forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.

I understand that you would like to remove some images from your store library. In order to do this, you will want to head over to your Shopify Admin, click on the Content section, and then select Files in the sub-menu like so: 

Once there, you will be able to easily manage your store media by using the bulk editor feature. While on this topic, I wanted to share our Shopify Blog titled: The Complete Guide to Ecommerce Photography. This is a great guide that will go over a few methods on how to source and produce high-quality commercial images to be used in sales of products and services online.

If you are referring to a different type of library, feel free to share some more context and I will be able to point you in the right direction.

Please reinstate the option to delete an image from a product's photo stack from the product page image explorer. I don't want to have to go into /content/files and try and search an image by name when i already know which SKU it is attached to, just to delete it. I don't always want to globally delete a file, sometimes I just want to remove it from the SKU.

As a workflow it makes sense to have both options. I have many product images that are used on a single SKU and many images that are used across SKU, I want a fast way to delete both types.
